我院开展“专业说 | 我的专业我来说”系列专题活动(七)

2023年4月23日,我院在L8-418会议室开展了第七期专业说活动,本期主讲教师为季波老师。季老师针对国际交流项目进行主题汇报。

School of Computer and Communication Engineering(SCCE) held the seventh professional lecture on April 23. Teacher Bo Ji gave a talk on international exchange program.

 

 

 

首先,季老师介绍了学校国际交流项目的背景和挑战。将不同学科知识融会贯通的能力将是未来领导者不可或缺的必备素质,国际交流项目采用前瞻性的教学策略,培养富有全球胜任力、社会责任感和国际视野的学生,使之拥有创新意识、批判性思维和前瞻视野来预见和辨识问题,让大学生有足够能力应对21世纪的挑战,并给世界带来积极改变。

Firstly, Teacher Ji introduced the background and challenges of the  international exchange program. The ability of bridging diverse knowledge from multiple disciplines is an essential quality of our future leaders. While our students see the urgency to make a positive impact on the world, our mission is to adopt forward-looking pedagogical strategies to nurture students with essential competencies, local commitment and global vision required in the complex reality of the world today and train versatile talents with critical mindset to foresee and identify problems, as well as to gear them with the competency to tackle the problems by leveraging their cross-disciplinary thinking and skills.

 

然后,针对国际交流项目的内容、流程,面试,专业培训进行详细说明。国际交流项目让学生通过不同方法来对现实案例进行定量及定性分析,让学生以用户协同的设计方式,创造出能兼顾利益相关者及产品功能的产品设计方案。在整个项目学习过程中,学生将通过深度讨论,学习如何尽情发挥无限创意、大胆整合不同想法、不拘一格解决问题、同心协力团队合作,以应对日益复杂的世界所带来的多方位挑战。

Then, Teacher Ji introduced the content, process, interviews, and professional training of international exchange program. According to international exchange program, students can learn cross-disciplinary research method which focuses on using various approaches to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses through real-world examples, and cross-disciplinary design thinking which focuses on user-collaborative design methods for generating inclusive product solutions that integrate stakeholder and product functionality perspectives. Through in-depth discussions over the whole project development, students will be equipped with the needed capabilities – the abilities to think creatively, to integrate ideas boldly, to solve problems innovatively, and to work collaboratively in addressing the multifaceted challenges of the increasingly complex world.

 

 

   

最后,季老师对过去几年的国际交流项目进行了梳理总结,并对未来的规划进行了展望。通过国际交流项目,融合学科教育的每一位参与者都需尊重来自其它学科的多元想法,以充分整合思想、集思广益,增强全球胜任力,包括领域知识、数据建模和编程,团队合作素质。

Finally, Teacher Ji summarized the international exchange program and provided prospects for future plans. students are expected to respect diverse perspectives from other disciplines to achieve collective thinking and strengthen their global competencies, including domain knowledge,math modeling ,coding skills, and team qualities.
